About
Here at Colombo Bible Baptist Church, we are a family and we want to welcome you to be a part. We are independent of any organisation and believe the very fundamentals of the Bible. Our church has been around since 1994 in various locations around the greater Colombo area, and has been meeting on Hospital Road in Dehiwala since 2009. We meet, serve, and exist to exalt the Saviour, evangelise the sinner, and edify believers.

We meet together for an inspiring time of worship, both in song and on our knees. We prioritise the Word of God and the preaching of it as it challenges, convicts, and encourages the congregation. It is our goal to teach the Bible and apply it to our daily life, whether it be in regards to the family, work, school or leisure.

As a church, we believe our role is to fulfil the Lord Jesus Christ's mission for us, to "go into all the world and preach the gospel".
We are thankful for the privilege we have to support the work of missions in Sri Lanka, and in over nine countries around the world.
